NAU HEALTH & LEARNING CENTER*
Details
Overview
A pioneer in fusion buildings, the HLC is a dynamic model for institutions seeking to combine academic, recreational, athletic, and wellness components into synergy based programs and spaces. The building is an addition to a 20 year old recreation center and replaced Lumberjack Stadium seating / grand stands. The ambitious size and scope made it a challenge from a budget, schedule, and design perspective. The team worked closely with Mortenson, the CM@Risk to arrive at a guaranteed max. price (GMP) at 50% construction documentation inside a fast-track schedule. This project was delivered on time and under budget and has become a high standard for health and wellness buildings nationwide.
*Work completed while working for Cannon Design acting as the Architect/Design entity.
