NAU MOD LABS

The scope of work includes selective demolition of the existing asphalt in the p12 parking spot, moving the existing ramps to new location to make space for the CPM modular laboratories which would be placed 1' above the 100-year flood plain.

The installation of the mod labs and the circulation system to access the lab will be permanent. The other supporting elements will include ramps & stairs for entry and exit, concrete podium to hold the SES panel and the new diesel generator.  The dumpsters located on the west side of the site service bldg. 19, 20 and 21 will be moved to the east side of the transit corridor. The dumpster is serviced by the COF and will need to meet all applicable standards for pick-up.

The building should also extend to the east to maximize module size. To avoid impact to the sanitary lines, the utility line and the steam line would be moved towards west. The exterior finish to the labs will be applied in the factory, but the vertical metal panels which are 7' away from the labs to hide the ahu units need to be installed on site.
